In The Land Of Little Rain

In The Land Of Little Rain

A study in contrasts. Here in the desert the sun can be out on one side of the street and it can be raining on the other side, or as in this case one side of the hill. I really love the dramatic effects of clouds and distant storms but we are longing for a soft, soaking rain. It's been another drought year here yet other places are getting way too much water. When I see the destruction in photos or on TV my heart goes out to those who are suffering from the effect of the recent storms - this has been a difficult year weather-wise.

HCS! My summer: stayed home and shot lots of photos locally.
